We, the Jaredian Design Group (JDG), are a Project Team with more than 35 years of experience in Disaster Recovery and public-sector projects dating back to Hurricane Hugo in 1989, Hurricane Marilyn in 1995, Hurricane George in 1998, Hurricane Lenny in 1999, Hurricane Omar in 2008, Hurricanes Irma & Maria in 2017. Of recent, our focus has been working with the Virgin Islands Office of Disaster Recover on two separate contracts. We have been engaged in some 28 different Task Orders over the past forty-four months. One of those Task Orders included the Envision Residential Rebuilding Program, where some twenty residences were inspected, measured, and scanned over a six-month time frame. Designs for ten of those homes were completed during that time frame. Some of the other VIODR projects we have/are working on include the Charles Turnbull Library, Lt. Governor’s Executive Office Building, Office of the Governor’s Business Office, Simmonds and Legal Counsel Buildings, Annas Hope DPW Temporary and Permanent Facilities, Frederiksted DPW Facility, Susanaberg DPW Facility, and the VI Economic Development Authority Industrial Park Restoration and Expansion, Patrick Sweeney Police Headquarters, and the Queen Louise Nursing Home.
We believe that good design should not only be aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and environmentally responsible. Our approach to architecture is rooted in a deep understanding of our clients’ needs and the context in which we are designing. We work closely with our clients throughout the entire design process to ensure that their vision is realized and that their space is both beautiful and practical.
