Anative Virgin Islander, John P. Woods is a design professional with more than 30 years of experience. The Salutatorian of the Charlotte Amalie High School Class of 1974, he received his Bachelor of Architecture from Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in 1979. Mr. Woods has practiced architecture in the Virgin Islands since 1982, first with the firm, deJongh Associates before forming the Jaredian Design Group in October 1992. As co-principal of the firm, Mr. Woods is responsible for project development, overall design, and management of the firm’s resources. His projects have included Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute, Roy L. Schneider Hospital, Quarters “B” Restoration, the St. Thomas Regional Library and Records Center, the Department of Justice—Toro Building, and GERS Executive Office Building, St. Croix.
